VARTA ProMotive SLI Batteries

ProMotive SLI is the starting range for industrial vehicles: truck, bus, tractor and machinery. It groups what was previously sold as ProMotive SLI and ProMotive SHD.

Technology

They are built to withstand the continuous vibration of heavy transport: plates anchored with resin, reinforced grid and casing prepared for severe work. The capacity and starting current are much higher than those of a passenger car, because a large displacement diesel engine requires a much higher starting torque, especially in cold weather.

How to choose

In industrial vehicles, it is common to install two batteries in series to obtain 24 V. Always replace both at the same time and with the same reference: mixing a new battery with a worn one causes the old one to drag down the new one and shortens the life of both.

ProMotive SLI groups what was previously sold as VARTA ProMotive SLI and VARTA ProMotive SHD. It is the reference starting battery for trucks, buses, and agricultural machinery.
