Kids ride-on car and electric toy batteries in Málaga

Children's ride-on cars and bikes use 6V or 12V small-format VRLA lead-acid batteries. They often die early due to bad charging, deep discharge (child leaves motor on) or temperature extremes.

Standard sizes: 6V 4Ah/7Ah/12Ah and 12V 7Ah/10Ah/12Ah, Faston 4.8mm or 6.3mm terminals. Typical 12V 7Ah: 151×65×94mm. Compatible with Peg-Pérego, Feber, Rollplay, Injusa, Smoby, Razor.

How long they last

Moderate weekly use with correct charging: 2-3 years. Heavy daily use: 1-2 years. If left flat for months (post-Christmas), they sulphate. Recharge monthly even when unused.

Correct charging

Always use the original toy charger (6V or 12V, 500mA-1A). Charge 8-12 hours after use. Never exceed 24h — overcharge drastically shortens life.

Mandatory recycling

Used VRLA batteries are hazardous waste. We collect them free of charge under Spanish RD 106/2008.
