2. Purposes and legal basis for processing

The personal data you provide to us will be processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

  • Handling enquiries and quotation requests submitted through the contact form, by email or by telephone. Legal basis: consent and the taking of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Managing the commercial relationship with customers (quotations, orders, invoicing, after-sales and warranty). Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Complying with legal obligations of a tax, accounting and commercial nature. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Sending commercial communications about our products and services, where a prior commercial relationship or express consent exists. Legal basis: legitimate interest or consent (Art. 6.1.f / 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Measuring and attributing commercial contacts: when you tap a phone, WhatsApp or “directions” link, or send a quote form, we record the action, the page, the page through which you entered the site, the origin of the visit (search engine, Google listing, AI assistant or direct access) and the IP address, for statistical purposes and to learn which content is useful. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR). You may object at any time.

3. Categories of data processed

We process the categories of data strictly necessary for each purpose: full name, NIF/CIF, postal address, telephone, email, vehicle details (make, model, year), billing data and, where applicable, bank details for payment. We do not process special categories of data (health, beliefs, etc.).

4. Data retention

We will retain your data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for the periods required by applicable legislation (in particular, the accounting, tax and commercial limitation periods, which may extend up to 6 years under the Commercial Code and the General Tax Act). Once the period has elapsed, the data will be deleted or anonymised.

The commercial-contact records described in section 2 (action, page, origin of the visit and IP) are kept for a maximum of 180 days and deleted automatically.

5. Recipients and international transfers

Your data will not be disclosed to third parties except where required by law. The following processors, bound by contract, may have access to the data:

  • Hosting and web services provider.
  • Tax, accounting and employment advisers.
  • Payment gateway (where applicable).
  • Courier companies for deliveries.

No international transfers of data are made outside the European Economic Area. Should we use tools that involve such transfers, they will be subject to the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

6. Rights of data subjects

As the data subject, you have the right to:

In addition to cookies, this site uses first-party browser storage for the same statistical purpose: mb_src and mb_entry (origin and entry page of the visit; cleared when the session ends) and mb_src_first (origin of the first visit; 30 days, only if you accept analytics cookies). This data is first-party, is not shared with third parties and does not identify you personally. mb_heat_dismiss also remembers that you closed the weather notice.
