Costa del Sol has 70+ golf courses. Each operates 20-50 electric carts running on 6-battery packs. Timely replacement avoids lost service days.

• 48V (6× 8V): modern standard 2012+ (Club Car Precedent, EZ-Go RXV/TXT, Yamaha Drive2).
• 48V (4× 12V): minority config.
• 48V LiFePO4: single 100-200Ah pack, replaces 6 lead-acid. 4× cost, 5× life, half weight.

Lifespan Costa del Sol

Intensive use (4-5 rounds/day) + correct maintenance: 4-6 years lead, 8-12 LiFePO4. Without maintenance: 2-3 years.

Mandatory maintenance

• Top up distilled water every 2-4 weeks (lead only).
• Clean terminals + dielectric grease monthly (salt air).
• Monthly equalisation charge.
• Annual capacity test.
