Batteries run out over time, and sometimes it is irreversible and cannot be recharged, modern cars require constant power to ensure the operation of integrated electronic systems that are more and more complex every day. So manufacturers recommend replacing the car battery every four years, but it is common for the battery to run out before this expected lifespan ends. If you detect any type of anomaly when starting your vehicle, contact us.

Varta Dynamic EFB
Designed for vehicles with basic Start-Stop, it is the entry point to this technology. A balanced, long-lasting option for urban use.
Varta Dynamic AGM

Its AGM technology offers maximum cycling resistance, up to three times greater than a conventional battery, and accepts much faster charging to power all of your vehicle's electronic systems without trouble.

How the change works: no appointment, 15 minutes
You do not need to book: we serve on a first-come, first-served basis. The process is simple:
- 1. Free check. We test your battery with Midtronics equipment: voltage, state of charge and real CCA. A healthy battery at rest reads 12.6–12.8 V; below 12.4 V it is only partly charged.
- 2. Exact reference. We find the right battery for your car by plate or model (size, terminals, CCA and SLI/EFB/AGM technology).
- 3. Fitting on the spot. We replace the battery in about 15 minutes, always disconnecting the negative terminal first so settings are not lost.
- 4. Registration / coding. On Start-Stop cars with battery management (BMS) that require it, we register or code the new battery so the system recognises it.
- 5. Recycling. We take the old battery and recycle it free of charge in line with regulations.
If your car will not start, see what to do when the car will not start, or book a free battery check.
Frequently asked questions about car batteries
How do I know which battery my car needs?
The quickest way is to send us your number plate by WhatsApp or call us at +34 952 31 01 18: with it we identify the exact reference (Ah capacity, cold-cranking amps CCA, dimensions and terminal type) that your vehicle uses as standard. You can also drop by C/ La Orotava, 100 and we will check it on the spot, with no obligation.
Do you fit it right away?
Yes. We replace the battery in-store with no appointment, usually within a few minutes. We use a memory saver so you do not lose your car settings (radio, windows, sensors) during the swap.
How long does a car battery last in Málaga?
In our area it usually lasts 3 to 7 years, though the summer heat is what wears it out the most. Short trips and leaving the car parked for long periods also shorten its life; if you notice slow starts, come by and we will test it free of charge.
