Boat Batteries

Buy your boat battery in Málaga with advice over the counter. We are an Official Varta Distributor and supply starter, house and dual-purpose marine batteries for motorboats, sailing yachts and yachts all along the Costa del Sol.

The boat batteries we supply

We work with the Varta and Optima marine ranges and, on quotation, Trojan, Rolls and TAB for deep-cycle house banks.

• Varta Professional Starter: engine starting.
• Varta Professional Dual Purpose EFB and AGM: starting and house use in a single battery.
• Varta Professional Li-Ion Deep Cycle: 12.8 V lithium for the house bank.
• Optima Blue Top: spiral-cell AGM, highly resistant to vibration.

How to choose without getting it wrong

Three things decide it: what you need it for (starting, house use or both), the capacity in Ah your consumption calls for and the size of the battery space. Check the terminal layout too, and whether the compartment is ventilated: in enclosed spaces a sealed AGM is preferable. Do not mix batteries of different type or age in the same bank. If in doubt, send us a photo of your current battery’s label by WhatsApp or call +34 952 31 01 18 and we will confirm the part number.

Collection at the shop or delivery to the marina

You can collect it at C/ La Orotava, 100 (Málaga), no appointment needed, where we also test your current battery free of charge. We also offer delivery to marinas on the Costa del Sol: it is delivery only, we do not fit on board, and the delivery time is confirmed when you ask for a quote. We collect the used battery and recycle it at no cost. All batteries are sold with the legal guarantee.
